CSPS Has New Chairman

Bandar Seri Begawan - By Consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) officially announced that Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, has been appointed as the Chairman of CSPS Board of Directors.
The appointment has taken effect from October 1, 2009.
The CSPS was officially established on July 1, 2006. It is a corporate body and is governed by the "Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies" Act 2006, Brunei Darussalam.
The centre is governed by a chairman and Board of Directors. Members of the Board are drawn from the public and private sector organisations. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
