RBPF Personnel Join Cross-Country Trek
Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 2,500 personnel from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) participated in a cross-country run as part of their end-of year activities yesterday.
The run started off at 5.45am and took off from the Stadium Hassanal Bolkiah to the Sports Complex at the RBPF's headquarters.
The event was categorised into eight different sections which included events and length of runs for both male and female officers, civilian personnel and members of Pekerti and neighbourhood watches all over the Brunei-Muara District.
The first 20 winners for each category received medals. Overall winners of the entire day's event was the W branch of the RBPF, represented by Superintendent Pg Zaidi Pg Metali who was presented with a trophy for his team's achievement.
Presenting the medals and trophies to all the winners was Commissioner of Police, Pehin Datu Kerma Setia CP Dato Paduka Seri
Zainuddin Jalani, who was guest of honour at the event and also among the participants of the cross-country run.
Also in attendance was Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Pehin Orang Kaya Pendekar Alam Hj Hasrin Dato Paduka Hj Sabtu. -- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
