Bandar Seri Begawan - YangAmat Mulia Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Rahim bin Pengiran Indera Mahkota Pengiran Anak (Dr) Kemaludin Al-Haj was presented yesterday with an Official Commendation of Appreciation by Hirose Noriki, the Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam, at the ambassador's residence in Kota Batu.

The Japanese embassy said YAM Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Rahim has been contributing since 2006 to the promotion of Japan-Brunei friendly relations through numerous sports activities such as badminton and football.

In appreciation of these contributions to Japan-Brunei friendly ties, the Ambassador of Japan, on behalf of the Japanese Government, expressed his deepest respect and gratitude to YAM Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Rahim.
