Bandar Seri Begawan - Kemuda Institute held its first Leadership Workshop yesterday, which was attended by more than 60 of its newly registered students. Besides Bandar Seri Begawan, the students came all the way from Tutong, Kuala Belait and even Temburong.

The workshop began at 7.30am and ended at 5pm showcasing various motivational and inspirational activities that promote leadership and teamwork qualities among students.

The workshop was aimed at providing students the knowledge base necessary to grow and succeed as leaders, skills augmentation, attitude enrichment and motivational development, plus the training required to successfully plan, prepare, organise and complete work assignments efficiently.

The workshop was conducted by 10 facilitators led by Mr Peter Ak Niven Ejang. Mr Peter has organised various leadership programmes over the years and most of them were carried out in private organisations.

Some of the core activities were communication network, self-analysis, teamwork development and enhancement, decision-making improvement, etc. The final task in the workshop was the nomination of the new KEMUDA Institute Student Council members. The election will be held next week.

Kemuda Institute hopes to see that this will be beneficial to all of the students who attended the workshop, not only as student but also as an individual on the whole.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
