Bandar Seri Begawan - Members of the UBD Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) organised a car boot sale yesterday morning, in an effort to raise funds for victims of the recent natural disasters in Indonesia and the Philippines.

Some 10 "car boots" took part in the charity event which also featured stalls selling food and drinks and activities such as face painting and games for children.
Guests and visitors were also given the opportunity to paint a banner with words of advice or wisdom. Prizes were also given away to chidren who participated in the booth games.

According to Ak Md Safwan bin Pg Asli, the president of the BPM FASS, the UBD charity car boot sale was held in view of victims of the recent earthquake in Indonesia and typhoon in the Philippines. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
