Heavy Rain Causes Concern
Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei-Muara yesterday experienced prolonged rain which caused concern to people living in low-lying areas.
Calls were made to The Brunei Times early in the evening enquiring about the state of slow moving traffic in areas which had seen heavy flooding earlier this year.
While rain had began in earnest early in the afternoon, reports said that the storm was of a different nature to the one which saw heavy floods in numerous parts of Brunei.
Members of the public were informed to call the section's hotline on 114 should they have any enquiry regarding the weather.
One particular area which had seen congestion amidst concerns of a repeat of flooding was along Jalan Jerudong. The road in question is an arterial route which provides access for the residents of Jalan Tutong in Mukim Sengkurong and Kg.
