Bandar Seri Begawan - A Concert participated by and dedicated to Pusat Ehsan children will be staged by Ballet Regina Dance and Fitness Studio at the Empire Theatre on Nov. 14

"The Pusat Ehsan children will perform with us in a very simple dance piece in the eyes of the able, but for them it is a great and proud achievement. I am deeply touched by the children's sincerity and enthusiasm for learning," said Ballet Regina Dance Director Regina M Vallejos.

"My students will also perform together with the Panaga Dance Centre with Robert Policarpio as a guest artist. Two of my vocational students in dance have been accepted to the Certificate in Ballet Teaching

Studies of the Royal Academy of Dance via distance learning in 2010. Ballet Regina is a training centre for ballet teachers, too," she said.

Ballet Regina Dance and Fitness Studio is offering to Filipino youth aged 10 to 18 training in folk and contemporary dances.

"The Philippine Embassy welcomes this initiative as an opportunity to expose the Filipino youths to Philippine dance and develop home-grown talents who can showcase our rich cultural heritage," said Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Alexander B Yano.

An orientation/briefing was conducted by Virginia On, managing director, and Regina M Vallejos, dance director, at the Philippine Embassy last Friday.
