Scouts Give Donations To Needy Elderly

Bandar Seri Begawan - Donations were given to a local citizen at Sungai Hanching yesterday, by members of the Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College (MTSSR) Rover Scout Troop "1069" when they were told by an "informed source" that the recipient lived in relatively poor conditions. MTSSR's leader Skipper Hj Mohd Paizzal Hj Piluk of the Rover Scout Association said they wanted to help the elderly lady, named Saidah, by giving her food and money, when they heard of the news. A sum of $250 was handed over to the Saidah, by the college's registrar Hjh Mardiah Hj Ismail.
