Books Detail Brunei's Rich Marine Life

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources yesterday launched two books - Coral Reefs of Brunei Darussalam and Reef Fishes of Brunei Darussalam - which provide information of the marine biodiversity, especially coral reefs and reef fishes found in Brunei waters, as well as promoting marine eco-tourism. The publication of these books is the outcome of the marine biodiversity surveys Phase I and Phase II conducted by the Fisheries Department in collaboration with four world class coral and reef fishes experts in October 2008 and May 2009.
