Bandar Seri Begawan - It was all fun and games at the Boustead Sdn Bhd Family Day yesterday, which capped off with a karaoke session and fireworks display for guests to take pleasure in.

Held at its Jalan Beribi showroom, the event this year also focused on raising money for victims of the recent spate of natural disasters, which will be channelled towards the
Free spaces were provided to vendors, who donated part of their proceeds towards the charity. Additionally, Boustead also made a cash donation of its own.

The day opened with a speech by Boustead Assistant Manager Helen Wong and was followed by the opening of the ceremony by Finance Director Ms Lim and Finance Manager Betty Yong.

Participants were able to try their hand at a variety of games, including Block Alley, Hook the Soft Drink, Hit the Hole, Basketball, Mini-scale golf, Catch a Fish, Spin the Wheel, as well as the colouring and drawing contest.

The top three winners in the colouring and drawing competition received attractive prizes, while the artworks were put up for auction - monies from which were chanelled towards charity.

The money raised for the fund will be presented to the Ministry of Welfare, Youth and Sports on Nov 4 at the Boustead Showroom in BSB at 10 am.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
