Bandar Seri Begawan - Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah graced the Toyota Classics performance last night at the ICC.

At last night's performance, 15th of Toyota Classic "series, 'A World Harmony 2009', a total of BND$80,000 from the tickets sales were donated to two local charity organisations namely Pusat Ehsan and Learning Ladders Society.

Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah as the guest of honour was present at the donation ceremony. On behalf of Learning Ladders Society, Dr Sharina Yunus, the President of Learning Ladders Society received a total of BND$44,000 from Her Royal Highness.

Ninan Chacko, the Managing Director of NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, in his welcoming remarks thanked the audience for contributing to the special people through the Toyota Classics.

"It is thanks to the support of those who are here that the Toyota Classics can enter its 15th year in a resounding beat for local charity," he added. The return of the ever-popular annual classical series saw the Prague Chamber Orchestra play to a full house at the International Convention Centre.

The 40-member orchestra led by maestro Charles Oliveri-Munroe serenaded the audience with a range of easy listening classical pieces. The orchestra was joined by soprano Marie Fajtiva.
