Bandar Seri Begawan - BAG Networks Sdn Bhd, a leading info-communication technology company in Brunei, recently organised a "Musical Raya" dinner for its staff and clients at the Empire Theatre of the Empire Hotel & Country Club.

The Hari Raya dinner featured performances by members of the BAG Networks community who performed with ‘Angklung', a musical instrument that is made out of bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame.

Earlier this year, the Chairman of BAG Networks, Dato Paduka Hj Ali Apong, encouraged all staff to take part in the ‘Angklung' team-building exercise. ‘Angklung' performers were trained by Sam Udjo, and Angklung maestro from Bandung, Indonesia.

There were also performances by a number of local artistes including Hill Zaini, Dilah and the Seeds, Lily Chiam and daughter, Shian Li Chiam from Expression Music, as well as BAG Networks' very own songstress, Dk Norfatimah Pg Hj Mulek. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
