Brunei Musclemen In Dubai Meet

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei National Weightlifting and Fitness Association is sending seven musclemen to participate at the 1st WBPF Men's World Bodybuilding Championships in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from Nov 3 to 8 Nov.
The musclemen are: Razali Mahmud, team captain, who will compete in the 90kg category; Abd Aziz Hj Tuah, 70kg; Tumos Kaling, 85kg;Sumardi Jumat, 65kg; Yusri Hj Zailani, 75kg; Eddy Nurisham bin Hj Damit, 80kg; and MohdAzli Jumat, 60kg category.
The team is undergoing intensive and fitness training at Harun's Gym under the watchful eyes of Pg Sufri bin Pg Hj Metussin as their coach. Awg Harun bin Haji Ahmad of Harun's Gym, association president, said "This is the first time we will participate in the world meet and we hope all the seven athletes will give their very best performance against the challengers from other countries.
"We hope to reach the final stage and at the same time try to improve our previous achievement that the association had created in Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, and South East Asian Bodybuilding Championship 2009 in Thailand last August.
"Our participation in the international championship is to show our commitment and the association effort to upgrade the image of bodybuilding sports in the country," said Pg Sufri. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
