Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Horst Kohler, yesterday, on the occasion of the country's Reunification Day.

In his message, His Majesty extended his warmest congratulations to the German President and the German people and wished them much happiness and prosperity.

His Majesty concluded the message by conveying his continued interest if working together to strengthen the friendly relations and close cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and as partners in the Asean-EU Dialogue.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a congratulatory message to Mr Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
