Police Personnel Sharpen Up Their Training Skills

Bandar Seri Begawan - Thirty-One police personnel now have a better understanding of what it takes to be a "capable" trainer who is able to instil confidence in others.

The group of police Personnel recently completed a three-day course called "Train the Trainer", which was organised for the first line by the Royal Brunei Police Force through its Training Unit of Police Headquarters Gadong and Police Training Centre.

They received their certificates from the guest of honour, Acting Senior

Supt Pengiran Datin Mariam bin Pg Hj Othman, the Deputy Director of General Administration & Finance, during a closing ceremony at the Police Training Centre yesterday.

Personnel from the Special Unit and Reserve Unit of Company A, C and D, as well as the Police Training Centre, were among those who signed up for the course.

According to the Assistant Head of Senior Course Trainers, Awanaluhammed Nor Arif bin Abdul Mokti, the course was faeititated by two lecturers from Malaysia's National Institution of Public Administration (INTAN).

He is confident that the course will help participants draw up effective training programmes for other personnel.
