Visit To Converts' New Homes

Recipients for the two new welfare houses were Mahadir Abd Rahmah @ Amparak Anak Indap at Kampung Amo C and Muhd Rais Abd Rahman @ Unyat Anak Enyau.
Both families moved into their new home three days before Raya this year, officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs told The Brunei Times.
According to the programme, Religious Affairs Minister Pehin Jawatan Luar Pekerma Raja Dato Seri Utama Dr Ustaz Hj Mohd Zain Hj Serudin will also visit another four houses as a gesture of goodwill to celebrate the Raya season with Temburong residents.
The houses include those belonging to the recipient of the 2004 National Bakti Hijrah award, Hj Mohd Hashim Abdullah, Penghulu of Bukok Hj Emran Hj Sabtu, Ustazah Hjh Barizah Hj Ibrahim and Imam Hj Adam Hj Tengah.
Leaving from Bandar Seri Begawan at 8.30am, the entourage is expected to reach the Temburong jetty at 9.15am. -- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
