Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ex-Soldiers Association of Brunei Darussalam yesterday held a rabid ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum for His Majesty's late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Hj Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Dam it, said Radio Television Brunei (RTB) last night.

More than 50 members of the association attended the ceremony led by the president of the association Pehin Datu Indera Negara Lt Col (Rtd) Dato Paduka Hj Mohd Ariffin Dato Paduka Hj Abd Wahab, the report said.

Also present at the ceremony was the former Deputy Defence Minister Pg Sanggamara Diraja Major General (Rtd) Pg Hj Ibnu Ba'asith Pg Datu Penghulu Pg Hj Apong as advisor of the association.

A similar ceremony was also conducted by residents of Mukim Peramu yesterday.
The ceremony was lead by Penghulu of Mukim Peramu, Pengarah Hj Ismit Pengarah Mukim Hj Naim.
