Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Communications and departments under it held a tahlil yesterday for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit at the Royal Mausoleum.

A congregation of about 150 people from the Ministry of Communications and its departments was led by Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Communications.

Also in attendance was Awang Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Acting Permanent Secretary.

The group comprised section officers, heads and deputy heads of department, senior officers and staff from the ministry.

The ceremony involved the recital of the Surah Yassin and Tahlil, with Awang Rozaimi bin Haji Bunal as the Imam leading the recitals.

The event is one of the religious activities organised by the Ministry of Communications and its departments.
