HM Receives Four Envoys
Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, received letters of credentials from four newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei at Istana Nurul Iman yesterday.
The monarch received from Philippines Ambassador to Brunei Alexander Badong Yano, United Kingdom High Commissioner Robert Dominic Russell Fenn, High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea Christian Anthony Vihruri and Julian Wilson, ambassador and head of delegation of the European Commission (EC).
Yano previously served as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Russell held the position of Deputy High Commissioner in Cyprus.
Vihruri held the post of consul-general in Brisbane, Australia, and Wilson is concurrently holding the post of ambassador and head of delegation of the European Commission to Sri Lanka and Maldives. They are based in Manila and Jakarta respectively.
