Bandar Seri Begawan - In An effort to protect the people of Brunei against the Influenza A (H1N1) virus, Tunas Cemerlang School held a religious ceremony at the school in Kg Sungai Hanching recently.

The Imam of Masjid Kampung Tanah Jambu, Imam Haji Bakar led the Sunah Hajat mass prayer as well as the recital of the surah Yassin, Ratib Al-Attas dan Doa Khas.

Also in attendance were the village head of RPN Lambak Kanan 1, RPN Lambak Kanan 11 and Tanah Jambu, which comprise Haji Mohammad Haji Tahir, Haji Kamis Haji Gadong and Haji Asar Haji Baruddin respectively.

Haji Abdul Aziz, the Principal of the school said that the activitiy was part of the school's initiative to join in the government's effort to free Brunei from Influenza A (H1N1).

He also added that the school has set up a screening area for students and have stressed the issue of personal hygiene amongst the students.
