Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Shell Petroleum crew and contractors of offshore platform Champion 7 took 30 minutes off from their busy routine on July 15 to celebrate His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 63rd birthday, according to a press release.

The event began with a doa recital by onboard supervisor Emran Othman, followed by a speech from Champion 7 Area Operations Superintendent Salawati Haji Kassim, before all celebrants sang the national anthem.

A birthday cake and special nasi katok were also prepared by onboard caterer Haji Malai Mashhor to mark the occasion.
