Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources (MIPR) received a courtesy call by Oman's Minister of National Economy and Vice-Chairman of Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council, Ahmed Abdulnabi Macki yesterday.

Minister of Industry and Primary Resources Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Hj Yahya Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Bakar and Deputy Minister Dato Paduka Hj Hamdillah Hj Abd Wahab were on hand to receive the Oman Minister at the MIPR building, according to reports by Radio Televisyen Brunei.

This was followed by a presentation by Brunei Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Jamaluddin Sheikh Mohammed, who gave an overview of some of the developments of the tourism industry as well as an introduction to some of the local attractions which can be visited.

The Oman Minister is on a four-day official working visit to Brunei to discuss cooperation with his counterparts in the areas of economy and finance.
