SMPDSM's Cleaning Campaign To Protect Against H1N1
Bandar Seri Begawan - The staff and teachers from Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Secondary School, Mentiri, recently took part in an extensive cleaning campaign within the school's premises. The campaign aims to prepare for the return of students after the extended holiday due to the cases of swine flu (H1N1).
Particular emphasis was put on ensuring the toilet facilities are in good condition in order to prevent the spread of disease.
Meetings were also held to brief teachers and support staff on strategies and measures to be taken once students return to school. It is hoped that these actions will ensure the health and safety of all members of the school community. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin

What they have done will have absolutely NO effect on the transmission of swine flu at the school! When the children come back, they will be touching every available surface, and those who are shedding the virus will leave the virus on those surfaces.
