Those people doesnt know what it means by 'Game over' in life.

Really once they get infected. They whine and cry over what is done and then blame the MoH for not doing this or doing that. Really people?

Whats really important?
Your lives or local artists who dont even know you despite your their 'number one fan'

Really some of those concern parents posted here to reason with everyone that the MoE should extend the holiday but look what some of the organizations are doing?

All the hardwork and tears the parents are doing for their children that would save some of the ignorant group in Brunei.

Its like. 'If one suffers, Everyone will join in suffering.'

Maybe the MoE is fed up on how those ignorant group are ignoring their warnings that they decided to not extend it?

Lets see we have over 100 people infected and they are still having fun?

Really they should reason with themselves seeing how dangerous our lives now...

And no Boredom doesnt kill.

i a gree that should not organized this type of artist publicity. please consider, and promote how to protect our people or prevention on getting infected of swine flu. please dont be ashame to use mask in public or crowded area coz it helps. but sad to say theirs a lot of people dont understand safty and prevention. hope people will cooperate on this matter, else they will end up blaming the MOH if they get infected but its very clear that MOH already mention those things we need to do for prevention. yet some people still ignoring it.

biasalah tu.... typical bruneian..kalau di larang karang marah durang. sudah terkana arah anak pinak saudara mara durang, abis semua jabatan kan di amuk. aku ani org brunei jua kali ah..paham jua sikit-sikit perangai manusia-manusia di Negara Brunei Darussalam ani. nda ya semua kan mendangar cakap tu. masih jua dengan degil nda bertempat durang atu....banyak contoh udah di liat bah.

Hi there,

I think you should take a chill pill and relax a bit. Important thing is those that are sick should just stay at home, get yourself treated and examined by a doctor. The rest of us can carry on living our normal lives. We can't let this fear take over our lives.

Most people in Brunei are just plain ignorant. They don't care. They would even laugh at their friend for wearing a face mask as a precaution. In some individual when questioned, they don't even know what H1N1 is... Shocking??? Plain ignorant... In malay we called it "babal"...

I totally agree and reading this, i sincerely felt pity to the MOE when i saw the poll. Honestly I admit, some bruneians are hard-headed and doesn't seem to see the danger of the flu like the MOH did. It will take years to find the vaccination, and I'm quite pissed to hear that last holiday even though warnings were already told, some meatheaded teenagers *you can include adults if you want* still roam around the mall like innocent people, and what's worse they didn't wear any protection at all!

First the matter got into educational topics, and some heartless dude seems to care more about education rather than health. Now organizers gathering local artists, in THE MALL where most people were infected from!? okay i don't hate my country but personally some bruneians are ignorants, until they see the damages they've done THEN they'll regret but there's no turning back.

Seriously, if the local artists are healing angels then yes, i would come. But this? might as well prepare a hospital to put all the soon-to-be-infected-fans-and-local-artists-not-to-mention-the-freaking-organizers into.

I wouldn't be surprised if MOH will laugh in their faces when they see them dying, it's their own fault for not being concerned about the disease and only cares about fun.

Why people can`t care...!

Today, Brunei health centers witnessed a record turn over of patients in history. The health care staff`s were stretched to death to meet both ends. Many patiends turned back hopelessly. Doctors and nurses even collapsed after working long hours without a break or food.

who to blame?
- parents (for letting their children going out)
- teenagers (for not realising how stupid their actions are! Stay inside the house bh! Kan jumpa 'kwan' or kn dating? cuba th jwab! inda jua bri mati if stay dlam rumah aa.. mama ku ckap if boreng dangani aunty(aka amah)! jgan kn suruh ia buat segala2 nya. atu bnar! buat milo pun inda pndai kaa?

during school?
- ALL teachers MUST wear the face mask! be a good role model. duii.. arh skulah ku inda. ktawa2 lagi drg. bangga ka tu? blum sdar ka that this disease can kill?
- ALL students MUST wear the mask also. This reminds me, why does the school do not provide the students with face mask?huh.inda tbali ka? karit
- yg rasa2 nya dmam atu.. jgan skulah bh! nanti th jumpa kwan atu.

P/S. According to the polls and comments in facebook, MOST of them said 'extend school holidays because this disease can kill and life comes first before education'
My reaction when i went to school today is 'HEH?'
i now realise most of them want to extend holidays because their hws arent finished, still in holiday mood or too lazy. What's their prove saying life is the most important? If so, why only 1% of the students from my school wore the mask?!

Really, really, really disappointed!

Time will come that H1N1 will be a common disease - just like a common flu. Everyone can catch it and some may fall, some may live. It depends to your own antibodies and mechanism. So let's get life, enjoy and do business while ofcourse taking care of our health. We cannot just hibernate and see what's going on outside. Too clean is also bad. We all need to immunize ourselves naturally.

A virus is small. Much smaller than bacteria.
by wearing a mask, wouldn't the virus just go through it?
worse, the virus is airborne. look on the internet/biology book and validate this.

I can understand why people who are ill / infected should wear a mask. I.E. to prevent saliva from splashing onto everyone which may contain the virus which MAY enter the body.

but for healthy people, wearing a mask is just for psychological comfort and some sense of security.

And for the local artists, they should be more sensitive with timing. but i dont see any reason why healthy people shouldn't attend.

Sick people should just wear a mask, stay at home and get better.

To clarify... A virus is micro in size, but the H1N1 virus is not airborne. Can't believe how many people are so ignorant of the truth of this virus. It is transmitted through fluid, i.e. your saliva. Hence, it is NOT airborne. And yes, if it were airborne, then mask surely does not prevent anything. But that's where you need to get the facts first, it is NOT airborne. I have repeated myself several times already, so the points should be well across already.

And as for the DJ, it is unacceptable at this time recommending people to flocked to Mall or crowded public area. But again, it is a way to say 'Don't panic over H1N1'. And yes, we shouldn't over react to this. Life goes on, and the H1N1 is just like a normal flu. No reason to stop living, though keep in mind we should always be vigilant regarding our health and hygiene and put an effort to keep ourselves healthy and clean.
