Filipino Converts To Islam

The ceremony was conducted by Ustaz Mohamad Noh bin Hj Mohamad Said, which took place at the Islamic and Guidance Consecration Section of the Islamic Dakwah Centre.
Andrew arrived at the centre accompanied by his friends from Kg Pulaie mosque and members of ‘Jemaah Tabligh'.
Also present to witness the ceremony was Awg Hj Abdul Aziz bin Hj Abdul Kahar, the head of the unit.
Andrew adopted the name Mohamad bin Abdullah as his new Muslim name. The ceremony was then followed with a thanksgiving ceremony at one of the friends' residence at Jalan Kebangsaan, Mukim Berakas A.
Mohamad Andrew came to Brunei five years ago and began contemplating converting to Islam last year. He said that he is very happy and grateful to Allah the Al-Mighty now that his prayer has been answered.
He plans to convert his wife and four children to Islam soon. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
