Call For Special Flags To Be Sold

Bandar Seri Begawan - A Concerned resident has suggested that flags for Pengiran- pengirans and those bestowed with special titles be sold and available in the market. The call was made as the nation is gearing towards His Majesty's 63rd birthday celebration.
While the national flags are commonly available, he noted that there is no place to buy the special flags. The hoisting of the giant national flag ceremony will be held on July 1, 2009 at 8.00am at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Complex in the capital.
In the Brunei-Muara District, the ceremony will be held at Mukim Sengkurong Community Hall whilst for the Tutong District is at the Pasarneka and Tamu Canopy Complex area and for the Temburong District, it will be held at Taman Perayaan, Pekan Hangar.
