Tim Burton has unveiled some of the eerie imagery for his radical version of Alice In Wonderland.
It will star Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen.
The Disney movie will mix live action and animation and will be released in 3D on 12 March 12, 2010.
Burton's Alice In Wonderland will be more akin to a sequel than a straight re-telling of Lewis Carroll's story, reports USA Today.
It says the plot will see an older Alice falling back down the rabbit hole several years after her original adventures.
Anne Hathaway will play the White Queen while other roles include Alan Rickman as The Caterpillar and Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat. -- Courtesy of Ananova.com
