Bandar Seri Begawan - The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Haji Md Mandi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Abdul Rahman, visited several religious schools and mosques in Belait District yesterday.

The permanent secretary, who was accompanied by Belait's Head Religious Officer, Pengiran Haji Yunus bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Salleh and other senior officials, also -visited the religious affairs office building in the district.

In conjunction with the permanent secretary's visit to the district, appreciation letters were handed over sponsors who bought air-conditioners for three mosques - Masj id Zainab Lumut, Masjid Pekan Seria and Masjid Muhammad Jai-nein! Alam Kuala Belait.

The letters were presented to Awang Haji Husaini bin Md Yusof at Masjid Zainab, as well as other representatives of BLNG, BSP, SeriKandi Company and SKSWood Sdn Bhd.
