Donations keep pouring in for Kg Manggis, Madang Mosque

Firstly I believe the location of the new mosque is not suitable as it is in a very small and tight place behind some rows of shop houses and behind several kitchens of the local houses. There is hardly enough space for the mosque building and also inadequate parking spaces. During Friday as well as Tarawih and Eid prayers the cars will overflow on to the main Muara Highway. The Mosque should be built in another area which is larger and will have better access and provide adequate parking spaces.

Secondly money to build the mosque should not come from doners alone but should be properly bugetted for by the Government as well as from the surplus money from the Baitul Mal. Thirdly there is too many Mosques already built around the Manggis area, hence a Surau is adequate enough. To spend 5 million dollars is a lot of money and whould be properly used to assist the poor and needy, Insyallah.

Although Manggis-Madang area badly needs a new mosque, the present site is totally unsuitable. There will be heavy traffic flow to and from the mosque at peak times. However, there are no roads from the Manggis area leading to the mosque. There are not many entrances or exits wihich will cause serious traffic snarls. Please restudy the site and look for a more suitable site.
