Parents briefed on religious schools' primary 6 exam

The Brunei II Religious Schools Guidance Committee invited over 300 people consisting of parents, teachers and principals on Saturday to hear a briefing on the Religious Schools' Primary Six Certificate examination. It was part of the committee's initiative to increase the academic achievements of primary six students.
The briefing was delivered by Ustazah Hajijah bte Hj Moktal, Head of Examination Section from the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Among the matters discussed were prerequisites to sit for the exam, and explanations to parents regarding the important subjects in which grades one, two and three must be achieved.
Ustazah Hajijah also stressed that the examination's level is on par with PSR, PMB, 'O' Levels and 'A' Levels.
The briefing was aimed at helping parents to understand how the examination operates and also resolving any doubts or questions that the parents might have in a question and answer session. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
