Express' Boss, Peter Wong: I
say he deserved what he got!! He has caused much misery for too
many people for too long now! What goes around comes around Mr.
Peter-Kaliew-Wong! He deserves more suffering than what he's
inflicted on his employees, their families, and who knows how many
creditors! Too bad the justice is late in coming! Gault

News
Express:
I am in total agreement with the action taken by HRH Prince
Mohammad Bolkiah, Foreign Minister of NBD, by taking News Express
to court. New Express is just reporting what they like without
checking the facts and figures.
Nah baru tah kena batang hidung mereka. Sudah sakit baru
teradoh. For instance when they reported about the death of the
late Pg Dato Md.Yassin Momin, former SUT of KKBS, the reports
appear in the news express every day for many days is just like
reporting about a court case. Just like a trial was going on. So I
hope News Express will be careful and take extra care in the
future. Bujal bujal50@yahoo.com

CONDOLENCE: My
name is Abdul Muthalif Bin Said Mohamad, Honourable Treasurer of
SSEAYP International Malaysia (SIM ) an alumni association of
SSEAYP Programme. I am the ex-youth leader of Malaysian contingent
of Ship For South`east Asian Youth Programme( SSEAYP ) batch 1996.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest
condolence to the family of the six demised. It's really a most
shocking tragedy to the entire nation of
SSEAYP especially for me as I and the other Malaysians lost
a very potential and dedicated National Leader, Hj. Jamdin Hj
Ramli. It’s very painful for me to accept the fact that I lost
another good friend of mine, Ms. Akiko Shinohara from Japan. She
is not only the administrative staff for this year SSEAYP
programme but she was also a participating youth for the SSEAYP
batch 1996, the same batch with me. I personally can't accept the
losses but I do acknowledge Allah's faith to IT's creations. The
members of SIM also feel very sorry and sad over the loss of the
Haji Tamrin, Vice President of BERSATU, En. Kamaludin, National
Leader of Indonesia and both Bruneian drivers. The demise of Hj
Tamrin is a great loss for BERSATU as he was one of the most
friendly and dedicated executives in BERSATU. Well, as a human
being in this world, we should be ready to face any kind of
consequences at any time. God is great with IT's qada' dan qadar.
Let us pray for them. May their soul rest in peace. This terrible
tragedy is going to be a long sad memory for the SSEAYP programme.
On behalf of SSEAYP International Malaysia, I would like to extend
our heartiest thanks and appreciation to the Government and people
of Brunei Darussalam under the Ruler of His Majesty for their kind
support and assistance given to all parties who have directly or
indirectly involved in this tragedy. They really made the
situation as calm as possible.
Once again, please convey our deepest condolence to the alumni of
BERSATU, the families and the entire member of SSEAYP nations for
the losses on this tragedy. MAY ALLAH BLESS THEIR SOULS.
Thank you to BruneiDirect too for your kind assistance on
circulating the latest updates on this tragedy. Syabas

Promail
Network:
I am puzzled with all the things that has happened this few months
regarding the Promail operation. In Malaysia a report said members
were looking for the Manager or the person in charge to give more
details/demand refund on the previous plan which the company
announced that it has been stopped. But why they can still start
the new plan. These things are happening in Brunei and in
Indonesia too.
Why no authorities have stopped this company from restructuring
the old plan before starting new plan? From what I know from my
friends, the marketing manager in Brunei still introduces the new
plan to public thus incurring more losses to the people. Everybody
knows that if the company can pay off the existing plan bonuses at
this moment why must he introduce the new plan? From my point of
view ProMail marketing introduced the new plan to lure the
new/fresh members as they do not have any fund to pay off the
existing members, with the support of the new member, at least
they have the staff's salary and office expenses paid off but
no member gets bonus. What happened in Miri? There they lured the
members to purchase the new plan at least 1 unit each if they
wanted to collect their bonuses. Of course the members will
purchase the new plan but lastly no pay out for the new plan. This
is something called cheating the consumer. The consumer does not
have to go through all of these things if the company operate
their business in a truthful manners. Hj Sidek hjsidek@hotmail.com

Accident
in Brunei (SSEAYp 2001):
It
is indeed a shock to hear about the tragedy of the national
leaders. I was one of the participants of the programme in 1987.
One of the injured Ms Grace Singapore National Leader was a fellow
PY that year. At a time when we are grieving about the innocent
people who were killed on Sept 11 in New York, We hear of
our good friends who have been killed by such an unexpected
accident who are travelling to promote goodwill and friendship.
This is indeed a 'black spot' in the SSEAYP, which has had a good
track record.
Thousands of youths who have travelled before on board the ship
know safety was utmost among the first priority emphasised by
administrative staff and the officials.
On behalf of all the PY's in Malaysia past & present please
accept our deepest condolences and sympathy on this tragedy. If
there is any help
we can render please contact us and we will respond immediately.
To Grace, we are thankful to god that you are safe and we pray for
your speedy recovery. Let this not dent the image of this program,
which has made this part of the world friendlier and peacefull.
With deepest sympathy K. Soma Sundram Youth Leader - Malaysian
Contingent 1987 SSEAYP. K. Soma Sundram somasun@tm.net.my

Disaster?
Where? Miri!!!!!!:
Miri was once the attraction for Bruneians. Buildings, hotels,
club grew like mushroom, and these all are for the Bruneian
tourists. It is packed every weekends. One can’t get a room
without doing a reservation earlier. BUT not at present. Even
these school holidays, Bruneian choose to go to Sabah instead. Why
not? It's safer there then MIRI! To the Malaysia Authority, that
is relevant.... Do something about it before it's too late! We
still love to visit Miri, but all the problems always happen to
Bruneians .... It give us second thoughts to visit Miri. The
Police seem to take this lightly. I doubt it if any of Bruneian
complaints or reports were taken seriously. Miri lover

The businessmen in Miri should get their act together and try to
fight all this nonsense of stealing cars...Times are getting worse
and without the police being active in this, it will only get
worst.
