Sudah 8 bulan studying in MD, wah I must say...boringnya! Entah I
don’t know why, I thought I was the only person yg meng-admit
that MD ani membosankan...but then, actually most of them yg ku
tanya shares the same thought as me. How unfortunate it can be kan
for the authorities kalau dgr rungutan ani...tapi apa bleh buat,
yg benarnya. Kenapa boring? Well there are no specific reasons laa,
lain org lain opinion. As for me..hehehe...byk sgt reasonnya.

on the left lane:
I seek your cooperation to stay on the left lane of the road if
you are not overtaking. It is frustrating enough to experience the
present road system being very poor with bumpy and dangerous
potholes. So do not make it worse. It is selfish enough with
the attitudes of certain road users particularly when you see them
busy with their handphones and ignoring others who are behind them
rushing to go back home esp during lunch time and yet they are

You have parked it just round the corner and you are so

apparently taken from a Canadian media group which follows the
comment. What do you think?

A US military intelligence source revealed details of an internal
intelligence memo that points to the Israeli Mossad intelligence
service having links to the World Trade Centre and Pentagon
attacks. The intelligence source, who requested his name be
withheld, confirmed the internal US intelligence memo circulated
four weeks ago described information that pointed to the threat of
a covert Israeli operation on US soil to turn mass public opinion
against Palestinian Arabs via an apparent terrorist attack on US
interests that would give Israel the green light to implement a
large scale military onslaught against the Palestinian Arab
population.
The 11 September attack has been described by experts as being too
sophisticated for a lone terrorist group to execute, "This
attack required a high level of military precision and the
resources of an advanced intelligence agency. In addition, the
attackers would have needed to be extremely familiar with both air
force one flight operations, civil airline flight paths and aerial
assault tactics on sensitive US cities like Washington, stated
David Stern an expert on Israeli intelligence operations. The
attacks targeted the Pentagon, World Trade Centre towers, with the
White House and air forces also being targets according to the
FBI.
"The attacks have certainly turned US public opinion firmly
back in Israel's favour after 11 months of Palestinian uprising,
heavy criticism of Israel over war crimes allegations and racism
by a UN conference in Durban. The attacks serve no Arab group or
nation's interests in their timing but came in the midst of
international condemnation of Israel for its policy of death squad
assassination of Palestinian political and police figures"
added Stern.
If verified, the news of Israel's involvement in the US attack
will come as no surprise to intelligence experts. The state of
Israel has a long history of covert operations against Western
targets with attacks on the King David Hotel, USS Liberty, murder
of a Scandinavian UN envoy as well as espionage against the US
during the Jonathan Pollard case.
On Wednesday, the US defence department issued a warning to its
officials to halt the leak of information on the investigation
which it says is happening on a daily basis since the attacks
occured.

Incredible of Boeing cutting 30,000 staff. British Airways also
cutting many thousands of staff. Many airlines are going bankrupt.
Our National Airlines do not have to worry. No cutbacks, not
Brunei style. Luckily for RBA they dont have SJ anymore. With his
imperialist, western thinking, no doubt he would have cut jobs
with excuse of cutting lost and being profitable. My support to

The Afghans have never been defeated, but I admit that I am truly
worried. This will be a time which will foretell whether we will
face a new dawn of hope or a continuation of our 100 years of

Frankly I am surprised at the very slow response to this issue.
The Chairman should have called for a full Press Conference at
least the next day after the allegation. Face the nation and talk
to us and give us full confidence that this allegation is not
true. Why wait for a week to make the denial. Staff motivation and
moral have already been severely affected. The world is also
looking at us like stupid. How could anything like this be true,
ie selling all interiors and leaving the body intact!! How stupid!

Our
SEA games failure:
Whatever happened to our SEA games debacle? Not even one
gold in Silat and lawn bowl? Coming in last after minnows
like Laos and Cambodia? Football teams thoroughly beaten?
We have to seriously ask ourselves WHY? This is especially
after our "achievement" in the last SEA games. If
I could just try to lay out our problems, then here it is; (1) We
do not have any credible plans for sports development in the
country. The blame must go to the Ministry of Culture, Youth
and Sports. This is a shame especially we felt that there
was so much goodwill after our hosting of the last SEA games.
The same can be said of our Malaysia Cup victory. The
enthusiasm was not utilised at all and we let things just slipped
by. The Ministry may argue that they do not have the budget.
This would be wrong. Do we just stop doing anything just
because we do not have any money? (You wonder then how so
many of our "officials" get to be at the games.
And do countries like Laos and Cambodia send the whole set of TV
crew to cover the games?) (2) Private organisations
could have helped if only we gave them due recognition. We
don't just squeeze them to come up with all sort of sponsorships
during the games particularly if they were meant only to give a
good impression of the officials! The partnership should
have been more long term; helping the athletes with training;
domestic competition or even overseas sports scholarship.
(3) Ministry of Education should have been more aggressive
in promoting sports amongst the schools in Brunei. Schools
kids ought to be exposed to bowling, golf, tennis, lawn bowl,
hockey, shooting, archery etc at an early age. Through this
we can spot talents. We can then provide sports scholarship
for these young talents. In order for these young talents to
excel, they must go outside Brunei. The US and Australia
have excellent sports development programme which is combined with
academic achievement. Even if we fail to find such
exceptional talents - we can feel happy that our kids would see
and appreciate sports as a way of healthy life. (3)
Perhaps a non-governmental body, devoid of cumbersome bureaucracy
can be set up in this direction. This body is made up of
people from the private sectors but with the full support of the
government. Its aim is towards sports excellence and the
target is at this stage to produce quality sportsmen/women so that
Brunei would at least be able to compete against countries like
Laos and Cambodia. OK we have two years before the next SEA
games in Vietnam - I just hope that we can better ourselves (we
can't get any worse, unless Timor participates and even then
at this rate we will still remain the last). Couch

Has anyone noticed that since SMS was launched for Easi that
subscribers for GSM have suffered because the SMS server sometimes
does not send our messages? Before anyone starts saying 'inda
bersyukur' bla bla bla .... I pay $45 a month + other extras. So I
expect my SMS to work as it did before. I hardly ever get 'message
not sent this time' BUT I do now (frequently). I’m sure I speak
for all those other GSM subscribers ... so DST, I should at least

Terrorist
attacks in the US:
The terrorist attacks on the US are tragic and senseless. There
should be no reason for innocent people to die, whatever their
religion. However, this is also the case with Palestine, Kosovo,
Iraq and Bosnia where as a result of Western countries' past and
current policies, innocent Muslims have died. When these Muslims
died, no Western citizen was beaten black and blue in Brunei,
Malaysia and other Muslim countries and slandered for being 'a
Muslim fundamentalist'. So my question is why this sudden assault
on Muslims worldwide? I appreciate President Bush finally taking
action on this by visiting the Islamic Centre in Washington and
saying that 'Islam is a religion of peace.' What about other
Western leaders? Tony Blair? Jacques Chirac? Why aren't any of you
taking steps to appear on TV and radio and emphasise that not ALL
Muslims are terrorists? Why aren't any of you taking steps to
protect the wellbeing of Muslims in your country who despite what
their religion or race, are still citizens of your countries?
CNN has been extremely biased in their portrayal of Islam. No one
has bothered to distinguish between 'terrorists' and Islam. The
BBC has been more 'generous' by reporting on Muslims who have been
assaulted and trying to take a milder approach. And what about our
own people in the US, UK and other Western countries? Is the
government taking any steps to ensure the safety of Bruneian
citizens and students abroad from abuse and assault? Many of our
students wear headscarves; has a general warning been issued to
them to ensure their safety?
For the Muslims who have written to this forum, please do not
assume that the Taliban and Abu Sayyaf are 'shit' hiding behind
the true face of Islam. While I do not agree with their violent
approaches to solving their problems fir example killing innocent
people, I can understand WHY they feel they have to do this. For
Bruneian Muslims, we have an easy life here. How would you feel if
you saw your parents or other family members and friends killed at
gunpoint or by bombs? How would you feel if you have to dodge
bullets and guns everyday of your life, just hoping and praying
that you'll live to see the next day? So please remember, YOU have
an easy life as compared to the misery these people in the Abu
Sayyaf, Taliban, Palestinians, Bosnians etc are facing everyday.
YOU have a car(s), house(s), family, friends, money, food and most
important you have your LIFE...face it you have almost everything.
So have more compassion for other people who may not have what you
have. Don't be so narrow-minded.
It's a tragic vicious circle...people seek revenge for the killing
of loved ones by killing other innocent people. Western states and
Islamic fundamentalists have got to try to work together to
prevent other atrocities from being committed. But I fear that may
never happen.
Let us not forget to say a prayer for the Muslims killed or still
missing in the WTC attack. There were Muslims who worked in the
tower as being a financial centre, I'm sure there were several
Middle Eastern companies in operation there.
For Western countries, your intelligence reports have been
reporting since that it’s Osama Bin Laden. I think he must be in
the World Book of Records for having his name the most mentioned
in a week or a day even. Don't forget the Oklahoma bombings and
Timothy McVeigh. While the men involved were of Middle Eastern
origin, don't forget there are a great number of terrorist
organisations in the world and they are not all religious-based.
So I hope you'll get your facts and evidences right and correct.
While Osama and the Taliban have certainly caused their share of
pain and suffering, especially to the women and children in
Afghanistan, remember there are innocent people there who may be
killed if your plan to bomb the country goes ahead. And what I
know is that killing another will never substitute for one
killing. For all you know, this could have been the work of a
group against President Bush's Missile Defence Plans. Don't lose
your logic and rationale in reaching a conclusion.
As a Muslim, I am shocked by these attacks and I sympathise with
the families of the victims as I can imagine what it would be like
to have a loved one die in the attacks. But I am only Allah's

from one's observation. Interesting and fascinating. Read on. Nuzi
Salaams everyone: >From my point of view,
What happened in lower Manhattan, NY city on Sept. 11. 2001 was
devastating and totally unacceptable by anyone who profoundly
understands the value and the importance of human life. Thousands
of innocent people (including several MUSLIMS) lost their lives
that day. My heart and prayers go out to everyone who lost their
loved ones because of this tragedy.
Right after the "ATTACK ON AMERICA" happened, the media
deliberately started projecting that this heinous crime was
perpetrated and committed by the MUSLIMS namely (Osama Ben Laden).
Also, that Muslims in America and all around the world are the
culprits and are responsible for this in-humane act of terror.
Q. Were these hijackers MUSLIMS? If yes, what kind of Muslims?
A. Not very good and TRUE Muslims, I guess. There is a good reason
why I believe that (if and only if they were Muslims) they were
not good and true Muslims. So you ask, WHO IS BEHIND ALL OF THIS?
Let me give you the following reasons and hints to who is behind
this tragedy:
1. Who controls the media in America? And isn't it true that most
of the ordinary and average people like us believe whatever
we SEE, HEAR, and READ thru the media.
2. Why didn't the hijackers (if Muslims as projected) care about
over 3000 good Muslims who worked in the twin towers on a daily
basis? If their motive was to bring these buildings down, they
could have done that over the weekend or at night time when very
few people are in the building WHY DID THESE ATTACKS TAKE PLACE IN
THE MORNING HOURS? Everyone was watching, in real time on TV all
around America.
3. Who was that gentleman on the street at about 9:08 a.m. with a
cam-coder in his hands making a video, which captured and recorded
the incident of the first plane hitting the tower? HOW come he was
there at the right place, at the right time? MEDIA Involvement,
planned out act of terror and again WHO controls the media?
Chain of events happened in U.S. gradually, momentarily, and step
by step. Moments after the attack and collapse of the WTC, media
showed PALASTANIAN kids and one female in HIJAB (symbolic dress of

information leading to the rental car and credit card information

Dear Readers, I have been reading up the comments given in regards
to the attacks on the US. I am overwhelmed at the response. Please
people, disregard race, ethnicity, religion and politics. What has
happened should very well have displayed an image of what it would
be like tomorrow. Indeed, innocent people have been killed. They
were caught in the middle, never having the intentions of getting
involved with politicians who feast on power and money. How much
more blood should be shed before we come to realise that this is
not the solution?
Retaliation is not the solution. Even now, issues on how innocent
people who died without cause should be avenged. I say leave the
judging to God himself. No matter how righteous one is, or how
justified an action is, it will all come down to one thing in the
end. Only God himself will decide on it. I try to picture myself
as one of the victims, or one of the relatives of the dead. In
doing this, one finds it hard to come to grips to forgive and
forget. One's mind would still fight for revenge. With reasoning,
if thought carefully, would one's death bring another back to
life?
All these could be a beginning to a new end. If retaliation
persists, it could lead to bigger issues. Maybe World War 3. I
believe, that if World War 3 does come, it would only last a few
hours. War now does not need knife or guns. All it takes is just a
push of a button, a few short hours of the nuclear missile
travelling to its designated location, and a few seconds to wipe
out what man took centuries building.
Please people; cease the talk about who is right or wrong, who
deserves punishment or justice. When the time comes, all this
means nothing. It will not matter who is right or wrong when you

There should be more than a fair amount of sympathy towards them,
whoever and wherever they may be and indeed it is a very sad day
for USA because many innocent lives were lost. But don't forget
that many innocent lives were also lost and continue to be lost
still in the Middle East countries each day and they too have been

It makes me so sick and to read that in this day and age there is
still so much raciest remarks from my fellow Bruneians. Why is
everyone condemning each other because of religion or PAST
conflicts? I think whatever religion you choose for yourself, it
does not teach you to condemn each other. I think we should divert
our attention to the fact that there are still thousand of friends
of families of those affected by this tragedy than argue with each
other over who we should be at war with or who is right or wrong.
This it the 21st century and we should leave all these BARBARIC
thoughts to HISTORY. With education level so high in Brunei, I am

World War III? Is this what we want? How many INNOCENT lives have
been lost in the destruction of the World Trade Centre? I know
that most Bruneians do not support the idea of USA's plan to bomb
Afghanistan. But I would like to pose this question. Do Bruneians
support the idea of Afghanistan bombing USA? Or let's rephrase the
question: do you support terrorism? In either way, we should pray
very hard so that both sides won't resort to violence in solving
this major crisis. Here is a question to reflect on: is it right
to kill people (including children, the aged and the disabled and
handicapped) in God's or Allah's name? If the answer is yes, what
if you were there in the World Trade Centre building that day, on
the topmost part of the building?

dikecapi. Sifat berhati-hati dan berawas perlulah ada. Perbuatan
Saddam Hussien menakluk Kuwait adalah satu perbuatan yang bodoh
dan hanya mementingkan ego dan agenda sendiri. Adalah lebih baik
ia menyerang terus Israel.Kalau tidak pun membekalkan senjata
kepada Pelastin secara diam-diam. Saddam Hussein adalah sama
sahaja seperti George Bush/Clinton. George Bush/Bill Clinton
mempertahankan Kuwait untuk menjaga kepentingan Amerika kerana
Kuwait adalah sumber minyak Amerika. Iraq sekarang sudah lemah .
Adalah lebih baik jika pada ketika itu dunia Islam menumpuhkan
perhatiannya kepada masalah Palestin dan Bosnia serta lain-lain
tempat di dunia Islam yang bermasalah. Saddam Hussein lebih rela
melihat rakyatnya mati menderita dan menjadi perlarian. Saddam
Hussein tamakkan hasil minyak Kuwait sebagaimana Amerika tamakkan
hasil minyak negara-negara Teluk Parsi. Agenda utama ialah minyak
bukanlah ISLAM. Selepas peperangan Soviet-Afganistan, sepatutnya
~~~~~ rakyat Afgans bersatu. Mereka yang menjadi perlarian di
negeri orang balik semula ke negeri asal untuk membina semula
negeri mereka yang telah musnah. Bukannya berperang sesama sendiri,
entah bila ia akan berakhir. Islam dan ajarannya bolehlah
ditegakkan secara aman damai dan melalui proses yang boleh
diterima oleh ~~~~~ rakyat. Akibat peperangan saudara, ramai
rakyat terbunuh. Dibunuh oleh mereka yang sebangsa dan seagama.
Ramai yang berterusan dan baru menjadi perlarian di negeri orang.
Bukankah itu menyusahkan orang. Walaupun begitu, kita orang Islam
bersaudara sepatutnya kita mesti tolong-menolong di antara satu
dengan yang lain di kala senang dan di kala susah. Saya memang
setuju dengan saranan Dr.Mahathir Mohammad untuk tidak menyebelahi
mana-mana pihak dalam kes yang kita hadapi sekarang. Kalau orang
Islam membunuh orang bukan Islam, janganlah kita orang mengatakan
orang Islam itu benar dan orang bukan Islam itu salah. Jika orang
Kristian membunuh orang Islam janganlah orang Kristian itu
mengatakan "biarkan saja, mereka itu orang Islam". Di
dunia ini kita yang berbagai bangsa dan agama boleh hidup dengan
harmoni dan aman damai. Janganlah agama, bangsa, fahaman, dan asal
keturunan menjadi sebab kita berbalah bahkan berbunuh dan
bermusuhan tanpa kesudahan. Osama bin Laden adalah pengganas dan
pembunuh bukanlah pejuang Islam yang sejati. Tanpa keganasan saya
rasa beliau masih boleh memperjuangkan Islam melalui kekayaan dan
kepintaran yang ada padanya, satu perjuangan yang boleh diterima
dengan baik oleh masyarakat antarabangsa dan ~~~~~ masyarakat
Afganistan sendiri. Janganlah pintar tapi bodoh. Menyokong dan
memberikan semangat kepada keganasan telah memburukkan imej Islam
sebagai agama yang mementingkan kedamaian. Tetapi malangnya, Islam
dan orang telah dilabel sebagai pengganas. Kesucian Islam itu
sendiri telah tercemar oleh orang-orang yang mengaku dirinya
beragama Islam. Memanglah
disedari keganasan terhadap Amerika adalah hasil usaha Amerika
sendiri iaitu sifat tidak adil dalam polisi antarabangsanya.
Amerika sepatutnya, dengan kuasa yang ada padanya, menghalang
Israel daripada menjahanamkan orang Pelastin. Amerika hendaklah
berkecuali di antara keduanya. Biarlah pihak pemerhati
antarabangsa mengawasi proses perdamaian Israel-Pelastin. Kalau
Israel itu terlalu keras kepala dan bebal, serang saja sebagaimana
Amerika menyerang Iraq dahulu. Apakah faedahnya Israel terhadap
Amerika? Adakah Amerika takut dengan kaum Yahudi di Amerika?
Adakah orang Yahudi berkuasa di Amerika? Kalau sudah tahu Saddam
Hussein itu keras kepala, BIARKAN dengan dirinya. Rakyat Iraq
adalah orang yang teruk menderita bukanlah pihak pemerintahnya.
Saddam Hussein masih OK. Belum apa-apa lagi. Kenapa perlu
mengorbankan rakyat Iraq yang tidak berdosa hanya kerana benci
Amerika(Pemimpin Amerika) terhadap Saddam Hussein. Kalau kita
amat-amati di dunia ini mestilah ada negara super power untuk
menstabilkan dunia ini. Superpower hendaklah menggunakan kuasanya
dan kekuatannya dengan sebaik mungkin. Superpower tidak boleh
bersikap tidak adil dan mementingkan diri sendiri. Jangan
superpowerlah memperalatkan negara-negara lain untuk kepentingan
diri sendiri dan melakukan kekejaman di negara orang. Akhirnya,
Amerika, superpower yang unggul pada ketika ini, perlulah menilai
dirinya sendiri kenapa serangan ke atas WTC dan Pentagon itu
terjadi. Janganlah angkuh dan sombong. Di Amerika sendiri ramai
orang Islam bahkan berpuluh juta. Mereka boleh hidup harmoni
bersama rakyat Amerika lain. Islam telah dapat ditegakkan
berdasarkan keutamaan dan realiti. Bukanlah tergesa-gesa dan

improvements before Tele-Medicine:
It is a good idea to have Tele-Medicine in Brunei Darussalam but
before starting these modern things, the authorities should
improve a lot of other hospital functions. For example:
1) Medicine supply. Common phenomenon to observe the necessary
medicines are many a time out of stock.
2) Pharmaceutical Services - Improvements in Out-Patient Pharmacy,
Polyclinic Pharmacy and In-Patient Pharmacy. The country has yet
to have a Satellite Pharmacy in hospitals in Brunei.
3) Need to network all the hospital services soon before
Tele-medicine can be implemented.

hingga 4:30 ptg. Pagi antar anak ka sekolah, jam 8 baru tah ka
pejabat, pukul 8:45 becerita sama member2 meranchang kan ka kedai
kopi. Jam 9 di kedai kopi sudah kami bercherita sampai jam 9:30
atu pun kalau ranchak cerita nya pkl 9:45 baru tah ka ofis. Kalau
ada program kan memeriksa di luar atu pun kadang2 menyimpang arah
lain. Kalau tempat yang kan di periksa atu member atu yang di
kenal punya malas tah kan di benar2ri tu apa tah lagi orang besar2
atau kawan pengarah. Jam 11:00 zoom ka pejabat atau kadang2 ka
rumah terus tu eh, mengambil anak sekolah lagi. Tengah hari abis
makan bekuruh dulu sekajap, then baru tah ke pejabat jam dua atu
pun kadang2 langsung inda lagi datang tambah2 lagi time2 payday.

headlines in one of the newspapers, I was shocked, angry, and felt
disgusted against these people who wrote about our prestigious 6
star hotel to be ripped off. How on earth we Bruneians let these
people (local & foreigners) run the News Express if they are
not capable of protecting Brunei’s interest. We all know that
the Empire Hotel was completed for the good of the nation to serve
the world leaders during APEC summit. Since its doors were opened
to public, the Hotel had made progress in almost every manner, and
improvements were made to the service thanks to the complaints and
feedbacks received from its honoured guests. Do you (media
concerned) know the impact of publishing that low quality opinion
from a group of terrorists who have ripped off our treasure. I
don't know the actual number of staff there but there must be at
least 400 locals working in that Hotel. (Be careful with what you
say now). You will know the outcome if you realise that you are
the cause of taking away their daily rice bowl. The other thing is

We do not have to question as to why people in the government
sector are slow, lazy or whatever you call it because it’s
normal human nature to be like that. That is why some countries
race against time to corporatize their government engines so that
the country can get rid of red tape and other unnecessary
administrative delays. Promotion to staff can be made by the board
of directors not with JPA or SPA getting involved. Pay rise can be
implemented without getting the sanction of ministry of finance or
JPM or whoever and strictly on merit basis! How's that sound?

For several years I had the honour of serving the Royal Family of
Brunei as a member of their Security Staff when they came to the
United States. I was mainly involved with the family of
Prince Jefri. Whatever problems they are going through now I
am sure that they will overcome everything and return to being a
happy family.

me. I knew them only as good people. My prayers are

It is saddening to watch what just happened in the US. My
heart goes out to those victims and their families. It makes
me sadder to read of the utterly senseless comments coming from
some of us. And it is totally unfair and insensitive to
justify the loss of innocent lives of those in WTC and Pentagon
with the seemingly "anti-Islamic" foreign policy
approach of the US government. If you think that these
victims somehow deserve to suffer the terror, then you are simply
wrong. I used to live in New York and in Washington D.C. and
at times brought Bruneian friends and relatives to these tragic
places. And to think that any one of us could have been
there at that particular time. And I am not at all surprised
if Muslims are amongst those who perished in the two places.
That is the whole point; terrorism punishes the innocent - it is
the highest form of cowardice. They don't go after their
real enemies because they know that they cannot. So they
inflict pain to those who may have nothing to do with their
supposed struggle; and at the end create hatred and resentment
against those they claim to be helping. And we have already
seen fellow Muslims in the US paying the price. And this is
a country where Muslims are beginning to be accepted as part of
society. Muslims are making progress and that has not been
easy. There are new mosques, increasing number of Muslims,
White House celebrating Eid-el Fitri, Iftar at the Capitol Hill.
What the terrorists have done is to turn the clock back.
They only reconfirm the stereotype and build the atmosphere of
hatred. Many Muslims find the US a place to make a decent
living; to improve themselves; through education; and it is only
sad that they would find it much harder to do so in the future. Orang

Islam is a religion of peace. Because of some heartless and
barbaric 'acts' made by several Moslems ( the hijackers and those
involved) the non-moslems now have negative perceptions on our
religion. Masya-Allah. What these hijackers did was not Islamic at

at all' and this was also stated by the ulamas in Saudi. Why
commit suicide when Islam prohibits its followers to end their own
lives in any way. I was really sad when I heard one of the
politicians interviewed expressed his concern about the spread of
Islam in the United States- there's no reason to feel threatened
by Islam. I was horrified to see the impacts of such attacks on
the Moslem community in the US. Suddenly some non-Moslems in the
US see Moslems as terrorists... The attacks on the US no doubt
were barbaric..why WTC some of the people who were there during
the attacks could be Moslems, pregnant women, fathers and mothers
or they might even have nothing against our religion. I just pray

scam in yayasan:
There
is a new company in Yasasan Complex ,second floor, next to Mohan
Carpet. Beware of this company. Last Sunday a lady in Brunei
accent called my father at home saying that my father had won
lucky draw prizes for buying many electrical appliances in the
past. My father was puzzle by this, as he never entered any lucky
draw before. Out of curiosity, my father went to their office in
Yayasan last monday. In there he was greeted by local and foreign
staffs. He showed his i/c and demanded to see his winning prizes,
the local Malay lady told my father to make a dip and later told
my father that he had won five valuable items. My father was so
happy winning those prizes, but he was later surprised
to learn that he must first 'purchase' the company’s
product before he was entitled to the prizes. All the items sold
by the company is not popular and costing more than $1000 each.
The girl also told my father that the prizes is not available yet
and will be delivered in the future! This is a 'total scam'. how
come they call my father to come and collect the prizes which did
not even exist yet and further forced my father to buy their
product. So Brunei public must be aware, they are targeting senior
citizen only. To the local staff, stop cheating on behalf of
foreign company, and I swear to God that I will take revenge
against you personally even if I have to break the law, YOU

Tribute
to America:
I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the innocent lives taken
away in America. With all my heart and prayers for those who have
suffered tremendously and in grief. This tragedy is shocking and
devastating as we only see it on the movies. Imagine either one of
us was there to witness the horrendous incident. The heartless and
cruel terrorists should not be allowed to take away so many of the
innocent lives regardless of the hatred towards America but to
find a better way to deal with them. And America will retaliate
which is not a good plan because this could lead to WW3 then
everyone in this world will be in great danger. President Bush
should try to set out tighter rules and regulations so as to
prevent further disturbances in the country although a lot of

media (newspapers, tabloids, internets, news stations all)
controlled by the Jews - the PROOF...extensive coverage on attacks
on US's WTC and Pentagon...some time ago in bombings on two US
Embassies in Africa (1988)...1993 bombings on WTC, 1982 suicide
bombers on US Marines in Lebanon, 1988 Pan Am bombings.....BUT
what about 1982 Sabra Shatilla Massacre, 1948 Dier Yassin
Massacre, 1973 Yom Kippur War that saw the fall of Bar-Lev Line in
Sinai, 1984 US invasion on Grenada, 1988 US cheeky hunt for Manuel
Noreiga in Panama etc.......it shows that the world news is
heavily manipulated by the Jews and its base is in the US....So,
SO, SO,the extensive coverage lately is only serve to seek
sympathy for US and her romantic ally, Israel to pursue their
double standard, bullying and deceptive evil means....I have lived
for almost half a decade and saw UN is there in the US yet the
Palestinian problems have been there unsolved since 1948....don't

to see the shaking of the world's police -the most bullying,

with the only way they could. They told us what we were doing was
wrong but we ignored them all these years. We could have prevented
all of this if our leaders had acted with common sense when
dealing with other people around the world. But as they had the
idea they could do as they pleased and no one would hold them
accountable. We should now honestly question what part our
Government had in bringing these strikes on us. These people who
attacked us are not giving up their lives for no cause. The
Government Propaganda will be in high gear and we must look past
it to get at the truth. Remember Truth is the first causality of
war. Also note our Government is not noted for telling us the
truth, even in peacetime. Keep a cool head and remember these
attacks are targeting the symbols of power, not intended at the

Note. This view is written while news is constantly updated. Like
everybody else, I was glued to the telly 15 for minutes after the
first mishap (the strike on the North Tower). I was amazed by the
well-planned coordination of the whole operation ('terrorist
attack' to some). Indeed it has been intelligently-strategically
planned. Immediate death perhaps to the business/economic
'think-tank' of the Americans sitting in their offices on the top
floors. 'America' stopped running for a day (or may be more) - an
embarrassment to Bush's administration. How did this happen when
America boast of their superior military and intelligence
functions? The unthinkable is made thinkable. The destruction was
devastating and God least helped them then. I feel for the
innocent victims, almost cried, but there was still a sense of
relief in me. Am I barbaric, when I justify these actions by
accumulation of deaths of innocent Moslems around the world (in
the Balkans, Africa and Mid-East) I don't know since when, more
than a decade in deed. It amused me that when the Palestinians
were killed, the Afghans and the Libyans were bombed, the
poor Moslem-Balkans were murdered, the Iraqis were/are destroyed,
no tears were shed, no actions were done (at least immediately).
Is it because these destructions were not 'televised LIVE' to
every corner of the world? Or we did not get James Rubin, Blair
and Bush to highlight that those destructions were intentional
assaults to Moslem 'democracy/world'? I try to rationalise. I
thought of the businesses we (Brunei) have dealt with the
Americans and economic repercussions on us. Scary. I think of the
city I am living now, and I could be the next victim, Nauzubillah.
Poor Americans??? Yet, they are not in ISOLATION. Blair claims
ally to America not even hours later after the bombing. 9 am (UK)
today Britain held talks with other NATO leaders (German, French,
including Russia) of possible responses. As of now, their
intention is to "sustain assault on 'terrorism' in the 'ARAB
world'" (Note. ARAB=MOSLEMS). The British Army is on AMBER
alert. American Force is READY. They are ready for their JUSTICE.
That is the reaction when one perpetrate the US or the RICH
(remember KUWAIT). By hook or by crook they will get their
revenge. Now, the latest, the Afghanis-Taleban government agree to
extradite 'Osama b. Laden' to the US if US can provide evidence.
This latest reaction makes me wonder whether all these had been
pre-planned by the US. Was this the only way that the American can
get their hands on 'Osama b. Laden', their number 1 enemy.
"America do not negotiate with terrorists" that's their
moto (if civilians were to die, die in the name of American
democracy??). Or, was this the only way to punish the 'Taleban
government' for insisting on 'Islamic movements', for the arrest
of 'Christian missionaries'? They knew about the hijackings (the
FBIs were working on them), yet nothing was done to intercept the
devastative plot. 4 hijacks at almost the SAME TIME over American
airspace. They have also been warned days before the attack. The
whole episode was seen LIVE around the world and PROVED how
destructive and 'inhumane' they were. The whole world is
sympathetic to the so-called 'powerful' America. Have Bush and his
associates waited for this to happen? Did they allow this to
'anger' the American public (and the World) and thus
permit 'tangible reactions' that will be the excuse for a
massive destruction of the MOSLEM world?

And Peace For All: The tragic happenings in New York and elsewhere in the USA is
to be taken as a sign of the breaking down of international law
and order and as such there should be a change of mindset of both
parties. While the terrorist act that brought such pain and
destruction and loss of innocent lives cannot ever be condoned, it
is time for the Bush Administration to search ways for a remedy of
the underlying causes. Without an in-depth study and a subsequent
implementation there can be no lasting solution. The US might
retaliate by striking hard at what they think as terrorist targets
which may or may not be true. But that will not bring lasting

What person has the authority as if a God that he/she has the
right to take the lives of innocent people? Is this the type of
world that we live in whereby we have become more vicious than
animals? And with our lack of security, how sure are we as
Bruneians that we are not harbouring terrorists in our country

read about the creditors, liquidators, Prince Jefri, ADC, BIA and
the government. There seems to be no end to this matter. It has
been 3 years now since the problem erupted and you guys are no
closer to reaching a conclusion. Reality is the only winners in
this case are the lawyers ie Freshfields and Lovells. More money
has been spent on lawyers rather than helping out the ailing

should act against Danny Wong and seek Interpol assistance for his
arrest. ADC saga has set a number of precedents whereby those
involved in the case are still free to enjoy and spent
luxuriously. This is a sickening trend compared to previous CBT
cases involving civilians and civil servants. They are either
fined or put to jail! This is really not fair to the public eyes.
With regard to Danny Wong, neither the Government nor BIA should
pay any of the companies (or any other creditors for that matter)
as there is no legal contract between them. It is pretty much
between ADC and the creditors to resolve. Again if the creditors
do not have legal contract with ADC, that is their failure to act
upon and miscalculate the risks on the business they undertook.
The point is the business principle remains. Two parties engaged
in any dealing must have a contract in place. If the creditor
cannot demonstrate and present the signed document, there is no
case to be heard.
