LTC Lagi: Guess who dream and implement the LTC project...sapa lagi if not the high flyer Bruneians in BSP. It may however not be fair to underrate or simply criticize the LTC terms. Although the pay and benefit may be cheap and lousy, it is better than being unemployed and the experience and work exposure may also be useful in future if you apply for other jobs. In today's world there is not a lot of life-time employment so count yourself lucky to have a job for the next two years. Do not always compare yourself with people who is doing better than yourself because if you look at those who are less fortunate, you will definitely appreciate what you have. Stupidity and greed knows no boundary: Did the directors of RBA ever thought about the fact that their old airplane needs servicing? I guess not...because if they did then they would know that they still need to get those engineers from Boeing to come and service their old planes. And guess what Boeing would do to traitors who switched to their only competitor-Airbus.
Alternatively, a calculated guess would suggest that bribery is involved. If there are enough reasons to justify their case to buy Airbus then I guess it would be alright. But for a pathetic 2 planes and spoil a good relationship with Boeing...I guess those people on top in RBA should get a tight slap on their face. In comparison to Emirates which buy a combination of both Boeing and Airbus but has a total of 60 plus planes. It is a sensible thing to spread their reliance to one particular plane. This however is not RBA case.
Simple logic would dictate that unless there were major problems with Boeing there is no reason whatsoever to switch. But I guess stupidity and greed knows no boundary. Albert 31.08.2003

Branch Boss laoya: I heard that there is this one boss in one of the medicine supplier at Seri Complex. Not a lot of people know he is such a liar and "cakap tak serupa bikin". In front of you he will say ok ok no problem but behind you he will mark you as uncooperative staff even tough you know it’s not true. Day after day he and the favorite "FAT" pet will try to find mistakes and excuses so that you will be against the company rules and regulation and someday he would call you that your working day is over. This happened to a lot of "un-favorite" staff and leaving the "FAT" pet to stay on. Respond to LTC BSP comments: Guys or Lady(s) whoever you are,
before voicing your concerns or ideas with respect to LTC employment in BSP, get your fact right. LTC stands for Local Term Contract which u got it right, and not Long Term Contract. The LTC has a fixed duration employed by BSP and usually is between 2 to 3 years with good pays even though lacking of other benefits as full employed BSP staff. Beyond that time, it's up to BSP discretions whether to continue employing the person or not. There is also written contract (black n white) in which the lucky person has to read it and sign it if he agrees / accepts the deal offer. In any case, the person has the right to negotiate for extra package and BSP will consider the wish request. I'm aware of LTC package as I have worked with a nice gentleman on LTC base before he took over my position as an engineer. The gentleman is thankful and happy to get the job as the pay is still better. Look at the positive side, BSP still offer jobs on LTC base with the right qualification to ease unemployment. People should be thankful on what he/she gets because having a job with pays is thousand times better rather than unemployed. Always remember, there are many people out there who will grab the opportunities. Finally, nobody force somebody to sign the contract if that person doesn't like it at all. Re Autism in Brunei: To all parents of autistic children and special needs children beware there are individuals out there who are trying to take advantage of your misfortune by offering programs to help you but actually they are only helping themselves. If the offer your help with your children check their qualifications make sure they have enough experience in handling special needs children. Ask what type of programs they are offering and check their facilities and the most important equipments they must have is a complete sets of Visual strategy materials.
Also make sure you ask for their IEP forms and if they do not know what IEP is they are not qualified. Also ask if they use SI, ABA, TEEACH, PECS, SMILE, PECS, COMPIC and many more and ask for the way to use them and the purpose of using them.
But I WOULD STRONGLY ADVICE YOU TO JOIN SMARTER because they use all these materials and many more and they only charge you $100 per month and the have just opened another ASD centre in Kuala Belait for the residents in Kuala Belait. Good luck to them and god bless you all well done SMARTER Brunei keep up the good work. They just concluded a Visual Workshop in KB for the parents in KB. Is it to look pretty, why are you not helping these families? The parents are struggling alone to organize appropriate program for their children without burdening the government. Technical Education System: Bruneian is very lucky to have Technical Education setup in the country also 30 yrs ago. Thanks to His Majesty Government. During the early years the Technical Education was well organized. The students trained from the early schools were well qualified. They could be easily employed by private and government sector without any compliant. After 30 yrs in Brunei the Technical Education should be able to trained well qualified students for the Brunei market I am sad to see it was the other way round. The students from the Technical Education nowadays cannot be able to do simple tasks of their respective skills that they were trained. I even heard from some of the students that they were not given exam on their 30.08.2003 but mark were being award to them without sitting for a test or exam. How can this happen in the said well known technical education in Brunei Darussalam. No wonder the students produced from most of the Technical Institution are of such a low standard as compared in the early day when they have to sit for external examination like City and Guilds. It is high time for the Ministry of Education to look into this matter seriously. The Department of Technical Education should be revamped by having experience and qualified people who have the knowledge of running the Department. Nursing Kolej: Saja spell like that so partially malay dan ENglish ya... hm.. sian ku dengar these graduated diploma in nursing students are yet to wait for job offerings for nearly a coming one year... I've got friends Sana jua... and more than half of them are not entitled for their promised work yet... So they are basically doing nothing and also contribute to the rising number of percentage of jobless people in Brunei... Brunei supposedly to decrease this raising number of jobless Bruneian but how come things like these happen... there's not even an action taken to overcome this problem... Also maybe one thing this is ujian Allah to you all and as I told my friends... jua... I've seen how they've been so socially open that seems to have no borders between men and women.. and where's the MIB that you people attended and to think MIB courses as un important subject.. To me MIB provide good ethics for those to enter the workforce field. SO my point is... the nursing students do stuff that are against our religions. They drink and get drunk... don;t ask me how they get those stuff coz I don't like it at all plus drunk people are really stupid and ignorant too so they are just making foolish out of themselves and unsurprisingly they practice free sex (well not all but nearly most of them) amongs themselves or with outsiders... Got one guy told me that the easiest women to get are from nursing college... aren't you people ashamed of these satements made? Airbus: Not impressed with Airbus aircraft for RBA. Wrong choice. After all these years of operating Boeing aircraft they should stick with Boeing and lease the smaller range of Boeing aircraft like Boeing 737 (600/700/800 series) for the regional routes. After all that will be coming full circle as in the beginning RBA started with two Boeing 737-200s. Airbus will turn out to be a multi-million dollar mistake for RBA. Just watch and see. I am more interested in the price they paid for leasing each aircraft? And whether any directors were paid bribes or commissions to buy Airbus aircraft after all these years of purchasing Boeing jets? In aircraft lease/sales it is very common to see that bribes are paid. But  a year after I moved into this new house, the road started to deteriorate day by day by the soil movement to the extent that the main driveway slanted to a dangerous position. Several reports had been made to the relevant department but no action. Secondly, along the same simpang, there was a main water pipe leaking for months. Legal Status and Rights of the Fishermen: Assalamualikum,
 Dear readers, as some of you may have already known, a group of Vietnamese fisherman was detained, facing possible charges for fishing in Brunei waters. This is neither the first time, nor I believe will it be the last!
 Before I go any further, may I humbly describe you my background just so one can understand where I'm coming from.   I'm a Bruneian, Malay; and just like most of you, I share intense love for the country and any violation or attempt to violate our rights, may spark bitterness against the violators or violators would be. At times, I am firm but I also try to be fair. Notice that I said firm 'but' fair; some say that one can't be firm and fair at the same time. That is right for incompetent people!
Well enough about my background and onto the meaty gritty issue! The fishermen currently held in detention are facing possible charges for fishing in Brunei waters. The fishermen claimed that their vessel's engine broke down and the sea current brought them to Brunei waters. I do wish to squabble about their accusations. Nor do I wish to look at the technicality and legality of both parties' (the Brunei Gov. and Fishermen) claims and arguments. I do, however, am interested in the fishermen's rights and legal status. They are still not found guilty of the charges. So what are their rights and legal status? Obviously, they were allowed to see representatives of their Vietnamese Gov., through the Embassy. That is good! But what about their living conditions? Their food? Medical care? I am not saying the Government of Brunei have violated their (the fishermen's) rights. But I am merely interested in their rights, and their legal status. They are obviously not citizens, nor are they under any visit visas, so what are their legal status, if they even have one? I am sure even if they do not hold any legal status, they hold certain rights, but what are they? Perhaps, somebody of a law background could be fill me in with this? Information On TAP Withdrawal Scheme: The Employees Trust Fund (TAP) is a scheme that enables citizens and Permanent Residents of Brunei Darussalam to save for their retirement benefit at age 55.
In short the functions and responsibilities of TAP are to receive their monthly contributions, invest and deposit until such times the members are eligible for withdrawal.
The members' savings consist not only members' contribution (5% of monthly basic salary), but are also made up of the employer’s monthly contribution at the same rate of 5%. These accumulated savings will be paid out to TAP members based on the withdrawal terms specified in Section 17 of the Employees Trust Fund Act Chapter 167 which are as follows:
1. Retirement withdrawal (55 Years of age)
2. Pre-retirement withdrawal (50 Years of age)
3. Housing Withdrawal I and II.
4. Emigration Withdrawal
5. Incapacitated Withdrawal
6. Next of Kin Withdrawal
For Housing Withdrawal Scheme, the Employees Trust Fund Board has specified the terms as stipulated under section 17(2)(b)(c) of the Employees Trust Fund Act Chapter 167, namely:
1. A member may withdraw for the purchase or construction a house; or
2. A member may withdraw in order to settle or reduce his/her outstanding loan
3. The property i.e. land title and house should be registered in the member's own name
4. Cheque payment will be made directly to the 'vendor' or 'chargee',

EASI NOT SO EASY: The so - called EasiCard. This is my main grievance my family as well as the company I used to work for have been using Malaysia's Celcom, Digi and TmTouch, and not one single company charge incoming calls like DST. Access fee for registered line, yes. but not annual fee for Prepaid card. I don't complain on the high charges of outgoing calls, but should they charge for Incoming calls as well..? SECURITY YAYASAN HSB : Kami ani gatal tangan ingin kan bekongsi cerita arah biskita semua peminat ruangan ani, macaani cerita nya hari minggu,  kami bejalan ke Yayasan HSB untuk membali barang sementara menunggu kadai Hua Ho buka jam 10 pagi kami duduk dibawah tanga dekat kolam air yayasan atu masa atu ramai jua orang duduk duduk ada bangsa indon, pilipin ntah apa lagi bangsa jelama nya
sedang kawan kami duduk atas meja dibawah tanga atu bedapan kedai body shop datang tah security bebaju putih menuju arah kami sambil BERCAKAP MENUNJOK MEJA "TAU APA NI.?" inda lagi minta maaf arah kami melarang duduk atas meja atu,sepatut nya bagitau tah "minta maaf disini dilarang duduk" bisai jua hati mendangar kurapak nya ani inda, kami atu bukang kan merosak barang atau memugut, salah kah duduk atas meja atu ?  menjatuhkan air muka orang saja , lain kali kalau awang security melarang orang RAMAI bisai bisai tah  jangan menyingong perasaan orang dimana tia sikap orang brunei yang terkanal dengan sopan santun nya ?.......  manusia ani memang ada kesilapan nya  kalau tah perkara ani tejadi arah pelancong luar negeri datang ke Brunei  duduk duduk disana bukan kah membari malu negara kitani dan imej biskita.

MKJB MKJB..kapada  EX EX bila u mention sal mr Z...do u mean mr Z... kah...? Masa ani kana sepak dSVSB..mengikut kawannya rapat  disana kedia kana lantik pulang jadi deputy principal 3 tugas tugas tambahan..mengikut kesimpulan yang diluahkan oleh kawanku atu...kalau Mr Z inda ada disana..keraja pentadbiran inda akan berjalan..,orang DTE takut kedia ani..pasal org local inda pandai buat keraja...ani dipahamkan kedia ani kan kana pindah di SVNR, mengikut luahan kawanku ani..Mr Z meluahkan keputusan yg diambil oleh pihak DTE untok menukarkan kedia keSVNR atu inda profesional..!( benarkan tu..ani tah contoh org luar menunjuk basar kepala dan inda sadar diri..lupa  kes yg pernah dibuatnya semasa di MKJB). persoalannya kenapa tah Mr Z ani kana tandang keSVSB, walhal pemandainya atu nada diSVSB. Almost setahun labih makan gaji buta membawa staf ( expatriate ) yg sepatutnya ada kelas membuat projek( private )yg tidak ADA kaitan dengan syallabus penuntut..terbuang masa penuntut. kawan ku  mengeluh nasib staf  local yg sering di tekan olih pihak admin  yg lebih cenderung bersikap serampang dua mata atau telunjuk lurus,keliking berkait....SELAMATKAN STAF LOCAL YG TERANIANYA DENGAN SIKAP BERMUKA MUKA ...selama-lamanya sekolah nda maju.. akan datang kita akan dengar keluhan penuntut mengenai sikap student lelaki sesuka hati keluar masuk dijamban penuntut perempuan di bahagian pembaikan hawa dingin ***unforgiven *** 31.08.2003

PENYEBAB ROSAKNYA BADAN
Perkara yang menyebabkan rosaknya badan Iaitu perasaan runsing, gelisah,lapar dan tidak tidur malam (bukan tujuan qiyamullail)
MENERANGKAN PENGLIHATAN
Perkara yang boleh menerangkan pandangan dan menyejukkan hati iaitu melihat pada warna hijau, melihat air yang mengalir, melihat orang/barang yang disayangi dan melihat buah (dedaun). Perkara yang boleh menggelapkan pandangan iaitu berjalan tanpa alas (berkaki ayam), menyambut waktu pagi dengan wajah murka (masam), banyak menangis dan banyak membaca tulisan yang kecil-kecil.
PENYEBAB WAJAH BERSINAR
Perkara yang boleh menyebabkan wajah kelihatan kering (hilang cahaya) iaitu berdusta, tidak mempunyai perasaan malu, banyak bertanya tanpa ilmu dan banyak berbuat dosa. Perkara yang boleh menyebabkan wajah bersinar iaitu menjaga maruah, jujur, dermawan dan takwa.
PERASAAN BENCI
Perkara yang menyebabkan perasaan benci iaitu sombong, dengki, berdusta dan suka mengadu domba.
PERKARA YANG MENDATANGKAN DAN MENYEKAT REZEKI
Perkara yang boleh menyebabkan datangnya rezeki iaitu Qiyamullail (beribadah di waktu malam selepas tidur), banyak membaca istighfar di waktu sahur (masa sebelum masuk waktu subuh), bersedekah dan berzikir di waktu pagi dan petang. Perkara yang menyebabkan rezeki tersekat iaitu tidur di waktu pagi, sedikit mengerjakan sembahyang, malas dan khianat.
KEFAHAMAN DAN INGATAN
Perkara yang boleh menyebabkan rosaknya ingatan dan kefahaman iaitu sentiasa makan buah yang masam, tidur pada tengkuk (belakang kepala), hati sedih dan fikiran runsing. Perkara yang menyebabkan bertambahnya daya ingatan dan kefahaman iaitu kegembiraan hati, sedikit makan dan sedikit minum, mengawal makanan dengan sesuatu yang manis dan berlemak serta mengurangkan kelebihan yang memberatkan badan.

Amah oh Pelayan : Sebenarnya jangan terlalu menyalahkan Pelayan ani, senyum salah, marung salah, abis camana lagi yang dorang harus buat menghadapi tugas harian, senyum kena kata mengatal, marung di kata kurang ajar, sebenar nya perkara begini, bukan salah 100% Pelayan itu, kalau lelaki " KITA " tidak merespon, tidak juga berlaku INTEM, sebenar nya tanya dulu pada diri kita, dulu dulu sebelum Pelayan Indon datang ke Brunei, ramai pelayan dan pekerja kasar wanita puak Iban yang bertugas, nah...waktu itu banyak juga orang kitani berjodohkan bisdia, mereka juga manusia punya perasaan dan kemahuan, banyaklah muaalaf wanita dari puak itu waktu dulu dan sekarang udah banyak beranak pinak, bila datang Indon, trend itu berjalan terus, erti nya siapa yang harus di salahkan, tidak semua juga orang kita ( Lelaki ) terpengaruh oleh lirikan Indon ani, begitu juga wanita Indon tidak semua "asal mau saja" ada jua yang bertahan maruah seperti wanita kita, dan perkara ini akan berterusan sampai bila dan bila. Dan khabar angin orang Indon tidak di bolehkan datang lagi untuk bekerja ke sini, akan di ganti dengan Kamboja,Myanmar,dan suku Thai Muslim, rasa nya lagi parah, kerana kalau dari Kamboja lagi lawa lawa puteh melepak, begitu juga Myanmar dan Thai muslim, cerita rampas merampas laki orang akan terus berlaku, selagi lelaki kita kurang beriman, nah apa yang perlu buat persiapan kita, berdoalah semuga suami suami kita kuat beriman dan tahan jelingan, usahlah kita persalahkan sesiapa, orang yang sabar bersama Tuhan.
