Storekeeper Fined $2,300 For Accident And No Car Insurance

A storekeeper was fined $2,300 or three months' imprisonment in default and ordered to be disqualified from holding a driving licence for four years by the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday after he pleaded guilty to four counts under the Road Traffic Act and to driving a vehicle without insurance policy.
