Rush Begins

All roads lead to commercial areas
Gadong, Kiulap and Muara roads
were chock-a-block with traffic as Bruneians began the last week of
shopping in the run up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Massive traffic jams
and congested shopping areas will be the norm for the next few days. |
Bandar Seri Begawan - Hari Raya shopping spree has well and
truly begun. With government servants receiving their salaries
yesterday, frenzied shopping began with long queues of cars seen
waiting to get into some of the commercial areas in the capital.

Asian Insurance Congress In 2006

Seri Begawan - The Executive Board of the East Asian Insurance
Congress (EAIC) has decided that the 23rd East Asian Insurance
Congress will be held from July 30 to August 2 next year in Brunei
Darussalam, one of the smallest insurance markets in the 11-member
grouping.
