Bandar Seri Begawan - A Bruneian man, who went to Miri to
look for cheaper car spare parts, was allegedly abducted and was
forced to pay B$9,000 in cash before he was freed in the
neighbouring Malaysian town on Sept 30.

Police Conduct Roadblock
Bandar Seri Begawan - A roadblock was conducted by Sengkurong
police personnel Saturday night at the junction of Jalan Ban 3, Jalan
Tutong and Jalan Kupang. The two-hour roadblock, which started at IOpm,
was led by SM Hj Abd Rahim and involved 24 police personnel.
