Bandar Seri Begawan - The
number of maid abuse cases, unpaid wages, job vacancies offered
by both the government and private sector that are posted at the
department, application forms for domestic helpers and company
licences came under the scrutiny of Minister of Home Affairs,
Pehin Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Adanan, during his working visit to
the Labour Department yesterday.

Gambling and Anti-Vice Unit of the Criminal Investigation
Department, Royal Brunei Police Force, acting on a tip off,
conducted an inspection at a house in Kg Ayer where they detained
four local men on suspicion of involvement in gambling activities.
