Bandar Seri
Begawan – From October 26, Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) will
be introducing a schedule that will improve connectivity for
passengers traveling to and from its regional, Australian and New
Zealand destinations.

According to
a press release, ever since increasing the flight
frequencies to Australia last June, RBA has seen a 24 per
cent increase of Australian passengers traveling to
Southeast Asian destinations. With the upcoming schedule,
the airline hopes to further boost this number of
passengers.
"As part of RBA's strategic
move to focus on its core network, the airline will change
some timings to increase connectivity to other
destinations," said Wong Peng Hoon, Senior Vice President of
Commercial (Sales and Marketing).
The airline will add one
extra flight to Bangkok, thereby providing a total of eight
flights a week |

with daytime and evening
departures. The split timings of the schedule are to
facilitate connections for onward journeys to Europe
from the Thai capital. |
Additionally, improvements in
timings will allow for better connectivity to and from regional and
North Asia flights. Furthermore, earlier departure times to Kuching
on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays will eliminate long transit
times. Flights to Surabaya will also operate on split timings, in
which departure flights will either take place in the morning or
evening for better connectivity with regional and North Asia
destinations.
With its upcoming schedule, RBA
will offer more options, shorter transit times and more streamlined
connectivity’s to other destinations in order to provide better
accessibility to Brunei. --
