Kuala Belait – The Operation 'B' Command of the Brunei Fire and Rescue Services Department held a cleaning campaign at the Mile Three Islamic cemetery site in Kuala Belait yesterday.

Senior Superintendent Abdul Azis bin Haji Mohammad, Commanding Officer of Operation 'B' led the clean up. More than 100 fire fighters took part in the community activity, which has been held annually for the past five years during the holy month.

At the cemetery yesterday, fire fighters pulled out weeds and trimmed the grass at the site. The morning activity also included a tahlil ceremony and prayers to departed staff and respective family members.

Public Relations Officer, Mohd Taha bin Bakar, explained that the community work is carried out to glorify their deeds during Ramadhan and also to
