Fun, Laughter At St Andrew's Gala Night

Bandar Seri Begawan - The St Andrew's School Badminton Club recently celebrated its second Gala Night at I-Lotus Restaurant in Kg Rimba.

Some 120 guests comprising students, parents, ex-students and coaches turned up for the function.

Also present at the event were St Andrew's School Deputy Principal Jane Keasberry, and teachers Mrs Shafeeullah, Miss Rosemary Ong, Mr Kenneth Chin and Miss Lorene Foong.

The function opened with a welcoming speech delivered by Chairperson Mrs Shafeeullah, following which speeches were made by the deputy principal and Coach Samuel Lim.

The day also saw the presentation of certificates and gifts to the players and coaches who have demonstrated outstanding performances. Awards for the best male and female player went to Ebbie and Lee Teen, while the best boys and girls' double players were Jason Yeo and Amos Tan and Jayne Wong and Teo Wan Mei.
