BMW X3 A Dream To Drive

Begawan - The new BMW X3 is set to turn heads in Brunei
Darussalam.
After taking a sneak peek at the
SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) at OAF Centre yesterday, it looks'
certain that the new X3 will be a dream to drive.
According to Sales Manager Clement
Chong, the new SAV is sometimes referred to as the "Baby X5" as it
costs less than its predecessor.
He said that sales of the new X3
have been good in other countries such as Singapore.
Some of its more striking features
are the "six-eye face" characterised by the new dual circular
headlights, the BMW kidney grille, new rear light clusters and the
horizontal lines stretching our from the tailgate to the front
bumper.
Aside from standard safety features
such as airbags, the body shell of the new BMW X3 ensures
appropriate diversion and absorption of impact from the front and
side, leaving the passenger cell largely undamaged even in severe
collisions.
Other safety features include
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control; Regular
Dry Braking, Dynamic Brake Control and Set Off Assistant.
The new X3, which is powered by
BMW's new generation of straight six-cylinder petrol engines
displacing 2.5 litres, has a maximum output of 160kW/218hp (+19kW/26
hp).
With the new engine, the new X3
saves fuel withäut compromising performance, said Sales Consultant
Silvester Yong.
The SAV, which measures 4,569mm in
length, 1,853rnm in width and 1,674mm in height, has a maximum
loading capacity of 1,560 litres.
The new BMW X3 will he launched in
