Prince To Attend UN General Assembly

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, left for New York, where Prince Mohamed will attend the 62nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and deliver a statement to the General Assembly.

His Royal Highness is also expected to attend a number of bilateral and multilateral meetings, the informal Asean Foreign Ministers Meeting and the Asean Ministerial Meeting with the President of the General Assembly and Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Present yesterday at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to Their Royal Highnesses was Prince Abdul Qawi and ther members of the royal family.

Also present was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, senior officers and officers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
