Brunei Delegation For Who Meeting In Korea

Bandar Seri Begawan - The World Health Organisation Meeting for the 58th Regional Committee Meeting for Western Pacific will be held this Monday (Sept 10-14) at Jeju Island in South Korea.

The Minister of Health, Pehin Orang Kaye Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Suyoi bin Hj Osman, and a few other senior ministry officers embarked yesterday to attend the meeting.

The issues to be discussed at the meeting will he: Progress towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals, Avian and Pandemic Influenza, International Health Regulations 2005, Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases, Tobacco Control, Mental Health, Traditional Medicine, Strategic Plan of the Western Pacific Region 2008-2013, and Programme Budget 2008-2009. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
