National Scout Association Receives Souvenirs

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Darussalam National Scout Association received souvenirs sponsored by DST Group and Takaful IBB Berhad for the 1st Rover Moot in Brunei Darussalam on September 5:

As many as 600 cups and 600 hats were contributed, which were presented by DST Group Executive Officer, Awang Farisan Mangsor, and Head of Assistant Services for Takaful IBB Berhad, Haji Awang Mohammad Rafie Haji Awang Damit. Both contributions were received by Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Ali Haji Awang Mohd Daud of the Brunei Darussalam National Scouts Association.

The Rover Moot is a Scouts Jamboree adventure for individuals aged between 17 and 26. It is a big event for Rover fans all around the world. The Rover Moot will be held for five days, and will be launched by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud at the Brunei Darussalam National Scout Association Training Centre in Beribi. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
