Teachers Honoured At Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Board of Governors of St. James's School recently hosted a Teachers Day dinner party in Kuala Belait.

The Chairman of the Board of Governors, Paul Chia Nyuk Leong, appreciated the tireless and dedicated work of the teachers and urged them to upgrade their skills to meet the current demand in teaching.

Principal Cikgu Mohd Ali bin Hj Ahmad mentioned the school's achievements in curricular and extra curricular activities.

Teachers must adapt various techniques in their teaching and should use more teaching aids rather than stick to the white board, he said. The school gave long service awards to teachers who served for many years. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
