Pusat Ehsan celebrates Mooncake Festival

For the first time ever Pusat Ehsan celebrated the 'Happy Mooncake Festival' thanks to 'Group of Volunteers,' a generous group of friends from the local Chinese community.

"We are here to share with the children of Pusat Ehsan the celebration of the Mooncake Festival, to let the children know about it and let it be a learning experience for them," said a volunteer.

Through story telling, the children were taught the meaning and significance of the Mooncake Festival. They were later handed out gift bags filled with a variety of celebrative food.

The 30-member 'Group of Volunteers' is not new to Pusat Ehsan. Over the past four years they have celebrated Chinese New Year with the centre.
