Traditional Sungkai Experience At
Sheraton

Begawan - Sheraton Utama Hotel is currently holding a sungkai
buffet at Tasek Brasserie to cater to Muslims during the month of
Ramadhan.
Among the dishes featured at the
buffet include traditional Malay cuisine such as nasi ulam, nasi
beriyani, ayam percik, curry mutton, beef rendang, sayur lodeh,
jantung pisang, and labu masak lemak.
According to Chef Ken, these dishes
that originated from Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore will be
rotated daily to offer an array of tastes to patrons.
There are appetisers such as
ulam-ulaman, jeruk, acar, rojak and prawn crackers as well as a booth
for noodle dishes such as laksa Johor and laksa Penang.
There is also a booth for finger
foods such as kebabs, roti john, roti jala, and murtabak as well as
desserts such as red bean porridge, cendol, kuehs, pengat pisang and
tropical fruits.
The buffet, which runs from 6-l Opm
daily, is priced at $18 per adult and $12 per child. For reservations,
