The Fishing's Good At Sungai Panrit

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sungai Parit near the Kg Parit Perayaan Mini Park has been a popular site for fishing enthusiasts for some time now, especially those from nearby villages.

Ramadhan is a good opportunity for those enthusiasts to pass the time while waiting for "sungkai" (break of fast) to come, by casting the lines in the hope of luring a "toman" fish.

According to them, time flies when they are fishing, thus forgetting about the hunger and thirst of fasting.

Night time is good for fishing the 'selunsong' thanks to the movement of the tide.
