Makeshift Ramadhan Stalls At Jln

Begawan - During the fasting month of Ramadhan, enterprising
Bruneians, see various business opportunities in food catering to meet
the needs of Muslims.
Since the beginning of the fasting
month, as early as 3pm, stalls are set up along Jalan Babu Raja to
cater to the needs of Muslims who are attending the nightly Tedarus
ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman.
The nightly Tedarus starts after the
breaking of the fast and lasts till tam.
These portable stalls in either tents
or on wheels sell food and drinks, including mostly local Malay
