Friendship Group Officials In
China

Begawan - Three officials from the Brunei China Friendship
Association left Brunei Darussalam for a seven-day official - visit to
the People's Republic of China to foster closer ties and cooperation.
Led by Mr Chan Sui Kiat, vice
president of Brunei China Friendship Association, the delegates
included Mr Tan Kah Hock, secretary general, and Mr Lim Boon Hwa,
treasurer.
The visiting officials will pay a
courtesy visit to the China Brunei Friendship Association in Beijing,
China. The visit coincides with the 15`1 anniversary of the
establishment of bilateral ties between China and Brunei Darussalam.
The delegates are expected to visit a
number of government agencies, the friendship museum, Nanjing and
Shanghai.
On Monday evening, Miss Yang Yanyi,
the Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, bid the visiting
delegates from the Brunei China Friendship Association a safe trip at
the Brunei International airport. Also present were officials from the
